Performs any of the following seasonal tasks to attend to livestock: Move cattle out of summer pasture in October. Work and vaccinate cattle. Weaning. Feed cattle. Haul cattle to sales barn. Maintain feed equipment. Check cattle for illness/injuries. Corral cleaning/change bedding. Checking/opening frozen water tanks. Prep cattle and barn for calving. Calving. Repair/maintain cattle fencing. At the end of the season, haul cattle back to summer pasture. Drive to town to pick up cattle supplies. Farming with: Beef Cattle
Special Requirements:
Minimum of 1 months of experience is required. Must be able to obtain a driver's license within 30 days of hire. Employer requires drug screen post hire at employers expense due to the liability of operating equipment. Employer requires criminal background check post-hire at employers' expense due to the presence of children on the farm and expensive tools and equipment. Failure to pass drug screen and/or criminal background check will result in termination of employment. Lift and carry items weighing up to 75 pounds. The worker will be exposed to extreme temperatures. Extensive sitting is required. Extensive walking is required. Repetitive movements is required. Workers must have positive verifiable experience relevant to the job and be capable of performing physically demanding tasks. Workers must be able to speak English. Employees must adhere to strict biosecurity, company policies, and food safety guidelines, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Certain roles
