Equipment operator will be responsible for running various types of farming equipment and machinery to prepare land for planting, spraying, cultivating, harvesting and storing employer grown crops. Workers will operate Tractors up to 800 hp, tractor implements and fertilizers buggies. They will be responsible for general maintenance of the equipment which involves greasing equipment and checking engine fluids daily. Small repairs of equipment may be necessary. Equipment operators are expected to maintain good equipment and maintenance records. Good safety skills of operating the equipment are mandatory. Equipment operators may be asked on an occasional basis to work in other areas of the ranch performing repairs, maintenance, and general farm duties. Workers with a drivers license will drive non-cdl trucks to transport grain to grain elevator and storage yard. 3 months of verifiable experience operating 600 hp tractors or greater is required. Drug screens will be performed upon accident, incidence, or suspicion at the employers expense. Failure or refusal of a drug screen is grounds for immediate termination.

Hours listed in Section A.6 are the anticipated hours to be worked. The employer may offer additional work hours or these hours could increase or decrease based on weather conditions, crop delay, pests or disease, crop yield, available labor, and or productivity. Use of electronic devices during work hours is restricted to emergencies only.
