Job Duties:
Prepare, season, and cook dishes such as soups, meats, vegetables, desserts, and other items as required in restaurant. May order supplies, keep records and accounts, price items on menu, or plan menu. Inspect and clean food preparation areas, such as equipment, work surfaces, and serving areas, to ensure safe and sanitary food-handling practices.Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, or pans, using dishwashers or by hand. Place clean dishes, utensils, or cooking equipment in storage areas.
Special Requirements:
Requires three months of food service experience. Must lift/carry 50 lbs., when necessary. Work schedule is at least 5 days/week with shifts varying by day and work days varying by week to include Saturday and Sunday. Example shifts: 8:00am to 1:00 pm, 9:00am to 2:00 pm, 4:00 pm to 10:00 pm, 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm, 5:00 pm to 11:00 pm, and 12:00 pm to 11:00 pm. Shift hours may vary.
