Job Duties:
Landscapers will perform tasks such as watering plants and grass areas, removing weeds, trimming shrubs, and planting new vegetation like trees, bushes, flowers, and other plants, as well as removing tree limbs and overgrowth vegetation to ensure proper pruning of plants. Workers will Trim bushes, trees, and other vegetation to keep landscapes neat and well-maintained. Workers will use tools such as Shovels, rakes, hand pruners, hedge shears, Lawn mowers, leaf blowers, string trimmers, and power-assisted tools such as sprayers and edgers to landscape areas and ensure the vegetation grows in healthy conditions. Workers will clean yard areas of fallen leaves and debris. Workers will assist in irrigation duties such as sprinkler installations or repairs. Workers will also Assist with the installation and adjustment of sod for lawn repair or new installations. Workers will also perform snow removal and winterization duties on gardens and yards to prepare plants for winter weather and low temperatures. Workers will care for and prune plants and shrubs to maintain proper growth and appearance. Workers will remove dead plants and weeds, maintaining a clean and healthy environment for plant growth. Workers will ensure the proper hydration of plants, shrubs, flowers, and grass.
Special Requirements:
The workers must have a strong attention to detail, the ability to follow instructions accurately and be able to work in teams to ensure tasks are completed effectively. Must be able to pass employer-paid, pre-employment, post-accident, and/or other random drug testing. Workers must pass employer-paid background checks. Workers must be able to perform manual labor outdoors in various weather conditions, such as cold heat and rain. Workers Must be able to lift and carry 75 lbs. for 75 yards.
