Job Duties:
Maintain hotel/resort/villa in a clean and orderly manner. Clean guest rooms, conference facilities, halls, public area spaces, bathrooms, in-room kitchens, bedrooms, and sitting areas; clean windows; clean and polish mirrors. Remove, sort, fold, separate, carry and replace linens; make beds, replenish supplies, set up guest room and meeting room furniture, pictures, and amenities according to resort standards. Dust, mop, vacuum, extract/shampoo carpets and dispose of refuse. Follow required safe cleaning and sanitizing procedures. The employer will offer a minimum of 35 hours of work per week. Open 7 days a week, 5-day work schedule varies Sunday through Saturday. Normal shift times: 9am-4:30pm, 9:30am-5pm. Shifts include 30 minutes unpaid break time. Workdays, hours, and shift times may vary with events and occupancy. The employer may increase wage based on experience, change in market conditions, and/or provide additional pay for performance and tenure. The employer will provide Wi-Fi and a $35 per month stipend for employee to utilize their smart phone during the course of business. Overtime may be available. An overtime premium will be paid when required by Federal, State, or local law, including at time-and-a-half after 40 hours per workweek. Generally, when overtime is available it will be paid at $22.50 per hour. The employer will provide a Coast RTA bus pass that is valid for daily transportation between employee housing and it’s worksite located at 1905 S Ocean Blvd. Workers are responsible for their own daily transportation to all other worksites. All worksites are within walking distance of employee housing and Coast RTA public transportation.
Special Requirements:
Must be able to stand, sit, and walk for an extended period of time. Must be able to reach overhead and below the waist. Must be able to regularly push, pull, and lift up to 25 lbs., and occasionally lift or move up to 50 lbs. Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, kneel, and twist. Must be able to work at least 5-day work schedule, including weekends and holidays as required. Applicant must be able to use their smart phone to use our work assignment tracking tool app and our employee clock-in/clock-out tool app. Post-employment criminal background check required, cost paid by employer and applied equally to all workers, U.S. and foreign/H-2B. Applicant must complete an employment application. Required uniform provided at no cost to the worker.
