Job Duties:
***RFI Response*** The largest vehicle an employee in this position may be required to drive is a Ford F-450 (or equivalent), with a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) of approximately 14,000 lbs. All vehicles utilized are non-CDL trucks, and therefore do not require a commercial driver’s license. This is consistent with the standard occupational classification for Landscaping and Groundskeeping Workers (SOC Code 37-3011.00), which provides for incidental use of such vehicles as part of routine job duties. Additionally, driving is not a core or universal duty of the position. Only some workers may occasionally drive company vehicles, while many employees will not be required to drive at all. ***Original F.a.2*** Landscape or maintain grounds of property using hand or power tools or equipment. Lay sod, mow, trim, plant, weed, water, dig holes with shovel, rake, blow leaves, spread grass seed, fertilizer & mulch, sprinkler installation/repair, installation of mortarless segmental concrete masonry wall units. Maintain equipment to ensure proper functioning. May drive company truck to transport crews, plants, materials and tools to/from or at worksites.
Special Requirements:
Must lift/carry 50 lbs., when necessary. Saturday and Sunday work required, when necessary. Employer-paid drug testing required of foreign and domestic workers prior to commencing work and post-hire at random, upon suspicion of use, and post-accident. Post-hire background check and employment eligibility (e-Verify) check required of foreign and domestic workers. Must be able to work at least five days per week. Employer may offer more than the stated work hours depending on weather, business needs, and other conditions. Extreme heat, cold, rain, or drought may affect exact working hours.
