Job Duties:
Assist with daily farm functions including but not limited to the following: operate various equipment (combines, tractors, trucks, etc.) for planting, spraying, cultivating, fertilizing, and harvesting of crops. Attach farm implements such as plow, disc, and drill to tractor. Till soil, plant and cultivate grain. Cut and bale hay. Tow harvesting equipment. Maintain/repair machinery. Maintain flood and sprinkler irrigation systems. Grain handling, hauling farm commodities. Minor farm construction projects. Maintain farm grounds/mow. Other miscellaneous duties assigned. Crops: hay. Must speak and understand English.
Special Requirements:
Three (3) months recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Must be able to obtain appropriate drivers license following hire and obtain clean driving record. Be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a drug test at no cost to the worker and be subject to the employers drug free and alcohol free workplace policy including testing protocols. Testing positive for an illegal/controlled substance or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment.
