Job Duties:
Directly coach participants; organize, manage program coaching staff including staff scheduling, performance planning, and evaluations; communicate effectively with parents and athletes; set and maintain courses, closures, and safety measures following standards of US Ski and Snowboard and FIS; ensure all facilities and equipment are properly maintained and stored; conduct video analysis sessions with participants; conduct athlete goal setting meetings regularly; responsible for athlete supervision, team captain's meeting representation, organize team travel arrangements; participate in staff meetings.
Special Requirements:
USSA level 200 or Internationally recognized equivalent preferred. Applicant must complete pre-employment background check, be able to lift 50 lbs, and speak English. Must be able to stand in ski boots for at least 6 hours in adverse weather conditions. Frequency of Pay: Bi-weekly On-the-Job Training provided. Will Train. Days and Shifts: Following Shifts available 7 days a week including weekends and holidays. Work schedule can vary and may include evening, weekend, and holidays hours. Example shift: 9:00am to 4:00pm. Shift hours may vary. Hourly Wage: $24.35 to $32.00/hr (based on merit and past experience with our company) Possible Wage Increase: Pay raises for increased certification levels. Overtime Possible: Overtime may be available at $36.53 to 48.00/hr. Will require pre-employment background and rehire status (if previously employed by Winter Park and/or Alterra).
