Job Duties:
Food and Beverage Supervisor will be responsible for assisting in the daily operations of the club’s dining venues, including à la carte breakfast, lunch, dinner service, banquet functions, member events, special club activities, ensuring exceptional member service, maintaining operational standards, supporting and supervising service staff development, assisting with administrative and operational responsibilities within the Food and Beverage department, monitor dining room appearance, cleanliness, ambiance, and service execution throughout service periods, ensure proper table setups, side stations, menus, service areas, assist staff with food and beverage service during peak periods to ensure smooth and efficient operations, address member concerns and service opportunities promptly and professionally, maintain a visible presence on the dining room floor to support staff and enhance the member experience, connect with the culinary team to ensure proper timing, food quality, and presentation standards, conduct pre-shift meetings to review reservations, special events, member preferences, daily specials, and service expectations, assist in maintaining a welcoming and positive atmosphere for members and guests, assist with monitoring inventory levels for beverages, supplies, linens, paper products, and operational materials, ensure all products and supplies are properly stored, rotated, labeled, organized, support monthly inventory counts and inventory control procedures, assist with receiving deliveries and verifying product quality and accuracy, maintain cleanliness and organization of storage rooms, beverage areas, service stations, and banquet equipment, help minimize waste and ensure proper handling of club property and equipment. Will supervise up to fifty (50) dining room staff, server assistants, bartenders, banquet staff, and support personnel. Must be able to lift up to thirty (30) pounds. Schedule: 40 hours per week. Work schedule can vary and can include evening, weekend, and holiday hours. Work may be performed on any day of the week from Monday through Sunday. Special Requirements:
The Petitioner will consider for employment any person who possesses at least one (1) year of experience in a ne-dining or high-volume environment at a high-end restaurant, resort, or private club.
