Job Duties:
***RFI response*** This position will assist craft workers by carrying and supplying materials and tools, holding materials in place, cleaning work areas, and removing debris. ***Original*** Perform physical labor at construction sites, clean and prepare sites, dig and backfill trenches, compact and level earth to grade, load and unload materials and distribute to appropriate locations, set braces and erect scaffolding, and assist other craft workers. Use shovels, picks, rakes and wheelbarrows.
Special Requirements:
- Must be willing and able to tolerate very hot or very cold temperatures. - Must be willing and able to tolerate loud noises. - Must be available entire contract period. - Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds and be able to perform physical labor. - May conduct post-hire, employer-paid drug testing. - Schedule varies (days of the week and shift times). Additional hours may be off ered. May be required to work weekends. - All worksite locations are within driving distance of primary worksite location. - Employer will pay the highest of all prevailing wages for all worksite locations throughout the entire period of employment. - Employer may off er a bonus or pay increase depending on experience and merit. - Daily Transportation is provided to all worksites from primary worksite. - Employer provides optional housing free of charge (excluding utilities) to workers who do not reside within a reasonable commute to primary worksite location.
