Job Duties:

Equipment operations driving tractor and plowing operations; Working with cattle checking and repairing fences; Working with and checking pivot irrigation systems; General farm hand labor and hand picking sticks. Job duties may include and are not limited to tasks such as: load and unload materials and commodities; mix materials, dump solutions or seeds into planter, spreader, sprayer type machinery; operate self propelled machinery; record information about crops; repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment; repair farm buildings, fences, and other structures; set up repair, maintain, and operate specialized equipment; tend to livestock by feeding, medicating, general care, grading, sorting, working, placing identification on, or relocating; tilling soil, transplanting, weeding, thinning, pruning crops; use hand tools such as shovels, trowels, hoes, tampers, pruning hooks, shears, loppers, and knives; use hand tools such as wrenches, crow bars, air tools, electric tools. Equipment such as but not limited to the following will be used/operated by the workers in conjunction with the duties being performed: bailers and other hay equipment, dirt moving equipment, GPS guidance systems, grain carts, forklift, irrigation equipment, pickups, cars, etc, planters, skid steers, swathers, bailers, and other hay equipment, tillage equipment, tractors. The workers will be performing the duties to help produce: cattle, corn, hay, wheat, and peanuts. Must speak and understand English.

Special Requirements:

Three (3) months recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Must be able to obtain appropriate drivers license following hire and obtain clean driving record. Be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a drug test at no cost to the worker and be subject to the employers drug free and alcohol free workplace policy including testing protocols. Testing positive for an illegal/controlled substance or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment.
