Job Duties:

Workers will be manually installing and repairing fences. Workers will also be required to feed and maintain cattle as well as mow or apply chemical treatments to pastures. Workers will be required to lift 30 lbs. Work can be in inclement weather conditions including extremely hot, humid, cold, and/or rainy weather. Workers will be supplied all necessary tools for the job at no cost to them. Workers will be required to operate equipment or tools at times and must do so in accordance with proper safety training that will be provided to them. Must show proof of legal authority to work in USA. Must be 18 years old. Long sleeve shirts and long pants are recommended to minimize skin exposure to cuts, scrapes, or sun. Workers will perform prolonged walking over uneven ground in dusty or muddy conditions. Workers must adhere to all safety rules as instructed by the supervisor. Instructions and general supervision will be provided by the employer or a designated employee. Workers will be expected to perform their duties in a timely and proficient manner and will have close supervision to ensure adherence to instructions. Work will be closely monitored and reviewed for quality. Employer may request, but not require, workers to work more than the stated daily hours and/or on a workers Sabbath or federal holiday. Workers must report at designated time and place each day. Daily or weekly work schedule may vary due to weather, sunlight, temperature, or other factors. Employer will notify workers of any change to start time. Workers will have an unpaid lunch break.

Special Requirements:

This job requires a minimum of 2 months of agricultural experience handling both manual and mechanized tasks associated with production of cattle. Applicants must be able to furnish verbal or written statement establishing relevant prior work experience. Saturday work required. Must be able to lift/carry 30 lbs.
