Job Duties:
Stewards will be responsible for assisting kitchen operations with duties including, but not limited to, removing trash, transporting equipment and/or supplies to/from banquet events, properly cleaning and polishing all china, silver, utensils, pots, pans, serving ware and other equipment, performing sanitation duties, such as mopping floors, cleaning work surfaces, sweeping floors, maintaining equipment in a professional manner and maintaining a clean, safe and efficient work station, assisting with setting up functions with ice, tables, chairs, utensils and other equipment, as required, assisting with breakdown of functions, returning food, equipment, to assigned areas and ensuring that all food is returned to the Chef for inspection and that all equipment is clean and stored properly. Stewards will need to lift and carry at least 30 lbs. Schedule: 35 hours per week. Work schedule can vary and can include evening, weekend, and holiday hours. Work may be performed on any day of the week from Monday through Sunday. Example shifts: 7:00AM-2:00PM or 3:00PM-10:00PM. Shift hours may vary. Please see job description for additional information.
