Job Duties:
Room Attendants will be responsible for cleaning residences, guest rooms, locker room and fitness areas, cleaning bathrooms, making beds, dusting, replenishing supplies/linens and amenity items, cleaning all glass and mirrors, emptying trash, vacuuming, cleaning stoves and appliances, cleaning outside areas/balconies/patio furniture/patio railings and floors/entry doors/elevators/stairways/ash urns/walls and light fixtures, cleaning fitness equipment, maintaining room attendant carts, in-room and department linen closets, straightening all locker room, fitness room and public spaces according to resort standards for cleanliness, performing deep cleaning, as required, moving furniture or heavy objects, as needed, transporting soiled linens to designated pick up point, assisting with delivery of clean linens, inspecting and removing damaged, stained linen, or imperfectly processed items from service, assisting with loading of washers and dryers, assisting with proper finishing of laundered articles, and maintaining cleanliness of all work areas. Must be able to lift, carry, pull and push up to 50 pounds, repeatedly, throughout a shift. Schedule: 35 hours per week. Work schedule can vary and can include evening, weekend, and holiday hours. Work may be performed on any day of the week from Monday through Sunday. Example shifts: 8:00AM-3:00PM or 5:30PM-12:30AM. Shift hours may vary. Please see job description for additional information.
Special Requirements:
The Petitioner will consider for employment any person who possesses at least three (3) months of housekeeping experience at a high-end hotel, resort, or private club. Applicant must complete pre-employment background check at employers expense.
