Job Duties:
Banquet Set Up will be responsible for moving, setting up, arranging, and taking down tables, linens, chairs, food and beverage stations, and bars for events in a timely manner according to event diagrams, cleaning and clearing tables and event spaces, performing housekeeping duties to ensure banquet and public spaces are always guest ready, maintaining equipment and furniture safely and appropriately, storing equipment and furniture in designated areas, checking warehouse and public areas for tidiness and maintenance issues, reporting any issues observed, following up on issues as needed, maintaining Sea Island’s standards for food safety and sanitation, meeting or exceeding local, state, and federal health and safety regulations, and following all safety protocols including appropriate use of chemicals, Personal Protective Equipment and Safety Data Sheets, and maintaining knowledge of Sea Island’s properties, services, and offerings, and enthusiastically share this information with guests and members. Must be able to consistently lift and carry over 75 pounds. Schedule: 40 hours per week. Work schedule can vary and can include evening, weekend, and holiday hours. Work may be performed on any day of the week from Monday through Sunday. Example shifts: 6:00AM-2:00PM, 12:00PM-8:00PM, and 5:00PM-1:00AM. Shift hours may vary.
