Job Duties:
Job Duties: Ensure safety & maintain cleanliness of pool area, pool deck, health club area, kids program and equip & guests (hosing off the pool deck and surrounding areas to remove debris and maintain a clean surface. Emptying trash and replacing liners in pool and health club areas. Hand out and collect pool towels from guests; organizing pool towels, ensuring towel stations remain stocked and orderly. Wiping down pool chairs, tables, and fitness equipment as needed. Sweeping and maintaining all walkways around the pool and health club areas). Greet guests. Assist guests with equip & all resort activities and kids crafts, respond to guest needs. Assist with pool/beach toy, beach chair, and umbrella rentals and sales. Maintain supplies, keep daily reports and logs; maintain supply of pool towels for guests and ensure usage rules are adhered. Carry soiled towels to laundry and carry clean pool towels from laundry to pool deck; keep towels neatly folded & stacked for guest use. Report issues to maintenance for repair. Employer will offer a minimum 35 hours per week. Rotating schedule: Sunday through Saturday, 8:00am-4:30pm, 10:00am-6:30pm, 2:00pm-10:30pm (includes 30-minute unpaid break). Hours and shifts may vary with occupancy and business demands.
Special Requirements:
No minimum education or experience required. The employer will provide on-the-job training. Post-employment criminal background check required, cost paid by employer and applied equally to all workers, US & Foreign/H2B. Applicant must complete an employment application. Must be able to work a minimum 5-day workweek, including weekends and holidays. Must be able to speak, read, and write in English. Must be able to lift 25 lbs. Must be able to obtain CPR Certification; resort will provide instructors to certify at no cost to employee. Employer will provide worker at no charge all tools, supplies, equipment required to perform job. Required uniform provided at no cost to employee. The employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays in each 12-week period of the total employment period. H-2B workers will be reimbursed in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (excluding passport fees). If worker completes half the employment period, employer will arrange and pay directly for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the employment period or where the worker is dismissed early, the employer will provide or pay for workers reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a workers voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $16.28 per day during travel to a maximum of $68 per day with receipts. All transportation costs are to be preapproved. If necessary, employer will reimburse worker within first pay period for approved cost of meals and lodging at the applicable exchange rate, not to exceed reasonable costs. Receipts must be submitted.
