Job Duties:
Duties include assisting with cutting, shaping, and building box parts of cabinets. Spraying stain or paint. Assisting carpenters with cabinets, cabinet drawers, and other parts of cabinets. Assisting with building floating shelves, doors, and hoods. Sanding products. Prepping and wrapping product for shipment. Assist with loading product onto trucks for shipment. Prepping laminate. Cataloging remnant product. Ability to operate power tools such as palm sanders, saws, screw guns, nail guns, sprayer for painting. May also operate CNC machines, beam saws, scan guns for shipping, and hand carts.
Special Requirements:
Must lift/carry 50 lbs., when necessary. Saturday and Sunday work required, when necessary. Multiple shifts: M-F 1:45PM-11:15PM or M-F 4:00AM-1:30PM Employer-paid drug testing required of foreign and domestic workers prior to commencing work and post-hire at random, upon suspicion of use, and post-accident. Employer may offer more than the stated work hours depending on weather, business needs, and other conditions. Extreme heat, cold, rain, or drought may affect exact working hours. The Employer will provide sick leave to employees. The employee will accrue paid sick leave at a minimum rate of 1 hour for every 40 hours worked. Employees are entitled to use accrued paid sick leave beginning on the 90th calendar day after the start of their employment, and sick leave will be paid at the employees normal hourly rate. Unused paid sick leave of 40 hours or less will be carried over to the following year for those workers returning to employment with the employer. The employer will deduct a portion of workers compensation premium from workers pay as specified in Washington law at RCW 51.61.140. The employer will withhold from the employees wages the maximum amount for the portion of employee premium required under WA State RCW 50A.04, Paid Family and Medical Leave Program.
