Job Duties:
Workers will perform tasks involving physical labor at construction sites. Workers may operate hand and power tools of all types including air hammers, earth tampers, cement mixers, small mechanical hoists, surveying and measuring equipment, and a variety of other equipment and instruments. Workers may clean and prepare sites, dig trenches, set braces to support the sides of excavations, erect scaffolding, and clean up ribble, debris, and other waste materials. Workers may assist other craft workers.
Special Requirements:
Workers may assist other craft workers. Workers must be able to lift and carry 75 lbs 75 yds and be able to handle temperature extremes. Workers must be able to accurately use and read a tape measure, follow directions, use hand and power tools, and repetitive motions. Three months of experience with concrete construction is required. On the job training will be provided. The employer does not require company uniforms. Standard work clothing such as durable jeans and work boots is acceptable and sufficient for performing assigned duties. The employer may offer more hours than specified, depending on company needs, and other conditions.
