Job Duties:
Pantry Cooks will be responsible for the preparation and presentation of cold food items in accordance with the country club’s standards. Pantry Cooks must prepare all cold food items including composed salads, dressings, chilled soups, canapés, and garnishes. Pantry Cooks must ensure consistent quality and presentation of all cold food items. Pantry Cooks will assist in setup and breakdown of cold food displays for buffets, banquets, and member events. They must ensure that they are properly labeling, dating, and storing all prepared items and ingredients. Pantry Cooks must maintain par stocks and communicate inventory needs to the Sous Chef. Must have the ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Schedule: 40 hours per week. Work schedule can vary and can include evening, weekend, and holiday hours. Work may be performed on any day of the week from Monday through Sunday. Special Requirements:
The Petitioner will consider for employment any person who possesses at least six (6) months of culinary experience in a fine-dining or high-volume environment at a high-end restaurant, resort, or private club. Applicant must complete pre-employment background check and drug screening at employers expense.
