Job Duties:
WINTER DUTIES December 16, 2026 through February 14, 2027 Workers will perform seasonal winter agricultural duties, including: Operate tractors, loaders, skid steers, feed wagons, and other agricultural equipment. Feed and water yearling steers and distribute hay, grain, and supplements. Monitor livestock for illness, injury, or cold-weather stress and report problems to the employer. Clean livestock pens, remove manure, place bedding, and maintain shelters, fences, gates, and water systems. Remove snow and ice from livestock areas, feed-storage areas, farm lanes, and other areas required for agricultural operations. Load, unload, move, and store hay, grain, livestock feed, and other agricultural supplies. Clean, inspect, lubricate, service, and perform routine repairs on farm machinery. Prepare and calibrate tractors, planters, tillage equipment, and other machinery for spring fieldwork. Maintain farm buildings and facilities used for livestock, crops, grain, and agricultural equipment. Follow farm safety procedures and maintain clean agricultural work areas.
Special Requirements:
Minimum of 3 months of experience is required. Employer shall Provide Necessary Training to worker. Workers Must be able to obtain a driver's license within 30 days of hire. Employer requires drug screen post hire at employers' expense due to the liability of operating equipment. Employer requires criminal background check post-hire at employers' expense due to the presence of expensive tools and equipment. Failure to pass drug screen and/or criminal background check will result in termination of employment. Lift and carry items weighing up to 75 pounds. The worker will be exposed to extreme temperatures. Extensive pushing and pulling is required. Extensive sitting is required. Extensive walking is required. Repetitive movements is required.
