Job Duties:
***RFI response*** Providing final garnishments to prepared dishes such as: toppings to salads and desserts (e.g., dressings, proteins, whipped cream, flavored sauces, herbs), placing already prepared sides on entree plates (e.g., French fries, fruit, soups, side salads, bacon, sausage), placing already prepared soups in cups or bowls and garnishing with already prepared proteins or herbs/spices, and/or providing toppings and/or garnishments to items such as already prepared fruit topping to pancakes/French toast, butter on breads, whipped cream on pancakes/French toast, granola on yogurt and/or gravy on biscuits. These duties will utilize utensils and implements such as whipped cream chargers, spoons, ladles, tongs, forks, knives, brushes, squeeze bottles, and spoodles. ***Original*** Servers will be responsible for providing fine-dining services and collecting payments from customers in all outlets. Servers are responsible for greeting, seating, taking orders, and taking reservations from guests, filling condiment and napkin containers, performing food preparation duties such as preparing salads, appetizers, and cold dishes. They will also perform cleaning duties, such as sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming food & beverage outlet floors. Servers will need to prepare checks, itemize, and total meal costs and taxes, remove dishes and glasses from tables or counters, roll silverware, and set up food stations, serve food and beverages to guests and prepare specialty dishes at tables as required, and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Schedule: 35 hours per week. Work schedule can vary and can include evening, weekend, and holiday hours. Work may be performed on any day of the week from Monday through Sunday. Example shifts: 11:00am – 6:00pm, 3:00pm – 10:00pm, or 4:00pm – 11:00pm. Shift hours may vary. See attached job description for additional information.
Special Requirements:
The Petitioner will consider for employment any person who possesses at least three (3) months of server experience in a fine-dining or high-volume environment at a high-end restaurant, resort, or private club. Applicant must complete pre-employment background check at employers expense.
