Job Duties:
The worker must clean and sanitize all dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment. The worker will also be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area, including floors, sinks, machines, and storage racks. Properly sort and dispose of trash and recycling in designated containers. Follow health and safety guidelines for food handling, chemical use, and sanitation. The worker must assist with basic kitchen cleaning tasks, such as wiping down surfaces, sweeping, and mopping. Ensure all cleaned items are properly dried and stored in their designated locations. The worker will monitor dishwashing machine operation, notify management of any issues, and support kitchen staff by delivering clean dishes and equipment to cooking and prep areas. The worker must also restock cleaning supplies and alert the manager when inventory is low and work efficiently during peak hours to keep up with demand and support overall kitchen operations.
Special Requirements:
Strong attention to detail, excellent customer service skills, and the ability and willingness to stand for 8 hours at a time are essential. Candidates must also be able to bend, stretch, reach, and push up to 50 lbs. Additionally, flexibility to work a schedule that includes evenings, weekends, and holidays is required. Must have basic English skills.
