Job Duties:
***RFI response*** “Setting up the dining areas and banquet event areas” consists of arranging tables, chairs, and furniture according to floor plans and event specifications, setting tables with linens, napkins, silverware, glassware, and china, preparing buffet stations, beverage stations, and service areas, ensuring all tables and chairs are clean and properly positioned, placing centerpieces, decorations, signage, and other event materials as directed, stocking service stations with necessary supplies and condiments, and moving and storing tables, chairs, and equipment safely following events. The tools/equipment used to perform these tasks, beyond those listed above, include tablecloths, skirting, glassware, flatware, and serving utensils, serving trays and banquet carts, folding tables and portable bars, cleaning supplies, sanitizers, and polishing cloths. Hand trucks, dollies, and carts for transporting equipment and supplies are used minimally and only as needed. ***Original*** Servers will be responsible for greeting customers, setting up the dining areas and banquet event areas, taking and placing orders, carrying trays and plates, serving food and beverages, and cleaning and clearing tables. Schedule: 40 hours per week. Work schedule can vary and can include evening, weekend, and holiday hours. Work may be performed on any day of the week from Monday through Sunday. Example shifts: 7:00AM – 3:00PM or 2:00PM – 10:00PM. Shift hours may vary.
Special Requirements:
The Petitioner will consider for employment any person who possesses at least three (3) months of experience in a fine-dining or high-volume environment at a high-end restaurant, resort, or private club. Applicant must complete pre-employment drug screening at employers expense.
